Children's Book Review: Pigs Say Oink

Name of book: Pigs Say Oink
Author  / Illustrator:
Martha Alexander
What's It All About: Children go through the farmyard, the town, and the countryside and hear what sounds everything makes.
My Favorite Bit: I love that the words are just on the page over each item that is making noise.  This book was given to me as a little girl and I loved to look at the children watching the train go by, playing musical instruments, and looking at farm animals.  This is a lovely book if you have time to sit and look at the pages.
Suitable Age For Reading It To: This is great for a young child around 3 to 4, but younger children can look at the pictures and try and say the noises, as can older children.  It's an all around great book to have.
Go Get It: Pigs Say Oink
(This book is currently out of print so it is expensive if you want a mint condition.   If you don't care about the tattered-ness of an old book, there are still great ones to be found.)
A little about the Author and/or Illustrator: I can't seem to find much about Martha Alexander or if this book was illustrated by another person. If you find anything out, drop me a line!  Happy reading!
